Discover Taybeh

As one of the most ancient places in Palestine and home to the Taybeh Brewery, the village of Taybeh is a major touristic destination in Palestine

Taybeh is situated on one of the highest hills of Palestine (930m). Taybeh dates back to the Bronze Age and is mentioned in the bible where Jesus visited. Taybeh is the only all Christian village in Palestine whose inhabitants are intensely proud of their Christian heritage.

Taybeh is a popular day trip due to its beautiful, whitewashed homes, brewery, winery, and its ancient Byzantine Church. Enjoy the many hikes among the olive groves in the beautiful valleys and hills dotted with almond trees featured as one of the hiking trails in Walking Palestine. Many people come to Taybeh in late October for the olive picking season.

Taybeh Brewing Company

We offer complimentary tours that include a walk through our facilities describing the beer making process with a taste of our flagship beer, Taybeh Golden. Tours are around 30 mins. Afterwards, many people hang out in our beer garden outlooking beautiful olive groves with fresh beer in their hands.

Taybeh Winery

Taybeh Winery, the only boutique winery in Palestine, was established in 2013 and makes wines with both local and indigenous varieties. Tours are complimentary and they discuss the winemaking process including a peak at the oak barrel room. They are always happy to give you a tour, reservations are not required but sincerely appreciated.

Taybeh Golden Hotel

This 80-room green hotel situated in the middle of Taybeh offers spacious rooms with traditional Taybeh hospitality. Many landmarks in Taybeh are walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has breathtaking views and one can see The Dead Sea on a clear day. The hotel has excellent conference facilities and makes delicious traditional cooked meals.
